Giving Back

We believe that supporting and giving back to the community in which we live and work is important. Throughout the years that we have been in business, we have contributed our resources—time, talent, and treasury—to a variety of nonprofit organizations. Here are four organizations in which we are currently involved:

Business Women’s Giving Circle – We are a group of accomplished women leaders in the Northern Virginia community who have come together because of our passion to empower girls and women in the area of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) through grants and programs promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and related opportunities.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – Judy Redpath served on LLS's National Capital Area Chapter's Board of Trustees from July 2008 through June 2014. Judy's involvement began more than 14 years ago as a Team in Training participant for the 2002 Bermuda Marathon (racewalker). She completed the Country Music Half Marathon in 2009 and captains a team annually in the Northern Virginia Light the Night Walk.

Cornerstones – Judy Redpath is an active volunteer and contributor to Cornerstones in Reston, Virginia, which helps those less fortunate find affordable housing, childcare, food, or financial assistance and promotes self-sufficiency. Judy has taught Cornerstones' clients basic financial literacy and serves as the annual chair of the Best of Reston selection committee, which recognizes businesses, community leaders, and organizations that show significant commitment to improving the community and the lives of others. Judy and VISTA Wealth Strategies received the Best of Reston Award in 2008. VISTA Wealth Strategies LLC collected items for the hypothermia shelter in 2017.

Rotary International - Judy Redpath has been an active member of Rotary International for more than 20 years. She is a Paul Harris Fellow, a member of the Paul Harris Society, past president of the Dulles International Airport Rotary Club, and a current member of the Rotary Club of Herndon, Virginia.
